The Georgia Bulldogs lose another elite recruit with three-star defensive lineman Corey Howard flipping from Georgia to Alabama

Howard has his college home. The 2026 Georgia three-star defensive end flipped his commitment from Georgia to Alabama football on Sunday, Oct. 19, joining a class overflowing with defensive linemen. And that “blank canvas” elevator pitch was the one that sold the Crimson Tide.

Vanderbilt moved up 7 spots to No. 10 in the AP poll, the Commodores’ highest ranking since 1947. Vanderbilt downed LSU 31-24 to earn just the fifth top-10 ranking in program history. The others were in 1937 (once), 1941 (once) and 1947 (twice).
