Ubisoft has scrapped its always-on and start-up verification DRM requirements for PC games, stating that its new policy as of June 2011 is to only require a one-time activation.
With silent key activation now in place, Ubisoft is refusing to sell its PC game keys through any third-party marketplace that isn't SKA approved.
If you bought one of the affected keys but have yet to play the game, unfortunately the key will remain unavailable, as any unactive keys will still be cancelled by Ubisoft. Thanks MVC and VG247.
