South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem is facing senators during her confirmation hearing as she vies to become the next Homeland Security secretary.

Noem on Friday pledged a complete turn from Biden administration policies, saying she's determined to carry out Trump’s plans to choke off illegal immigration and deport millions of migrants.
