The Maine men’s hockey team is back hosting a Hockey East Quarterfinal on The Black Bears made it to the conference semifinals last year at TD Garden. The group is drawing on that experience and its work ethic for its belief after going 0-1-1 at UMass to close out the regular season.

When Boston College won the Hockey East regular season title over the weekend to earn the No. 1 seed, the team knew where and when it would be playing in the conference tournament. However, the Eagles had to wait to find out their opponent for the quarterfinals until after the opening round of games on Wednesday night.
