Tacoma police have confirmed that two women found dead in the city were shot to death, and the case is being investigated as a double homicide. The bodies were discovered inside a vehicle, though it is unclear if it was the white car parked in a dirt lot that police were examining.

TACOMA, Wash. — The Tacoma Police Department is investigating what they are calling two “suspicious” deaths. Officers were called to an area on St. Paul Ave. near Tacoma Marine Repair for reports of an unresponsive man and woman. Both people were pronounced dead when first responders arrived.

A Tacoma man who was killed in a shooting last week has been identified, according to the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office. Kadony Robbins, 18, died from a gunshot wound to the chest on Feb. 14 near the 1300 block of South G Street. His manner of death was ruled as a homicide, the office wrote in a news release.
