The Seahawks put three TEs on the field, and the Texans respond by filling the box and believing in the run. AJ Barner and Arroyo get separation from the DBs, and Sam Darnold picks the rookie who’s furthest from the safety and resists the tackle.
Riq Woolen’s future in Seattle is uncertain as the Seahawks reportedly shop the cornerback who “doesn’t fit” Mike Macdonald’s system.
Just seven points separate the Seattle Seahawks from a perfect start to the season. The Seahawks enter their bye with a 5-2 record after beating the Houston Texans 27-19 last Monday night.
The Seattle Seahawks are 5-2, and they look like one of the best teams in the NFL heading into their bye week. They have the second-best record in football, and while they trail in the NFC West by way of a Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, they've since morphed into a dominant team in all three phases.
Darnold and the offense actually got off to a hot start with two quick touchdowns in the first quarter that helped Seattle jump out to a 14-0 lead. From there, the Seahawks just held on for dear life. This game probably would have turned into a blowout win for the Seahawks if not for their four turnovers, which kept Houston in it.

Woolen is in a contract year and the coaching staff has been consistently disappointed with his performances.
