Garrett Crochet struck out 11 in seven innings, Trevor Story homered and drove in three runs, and the Boston Red Sox beat the New York Yankees 12-1.
Once again, the Boston Red Sox embarrassed the New York Yankees on Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium. The Red Sox won their eighth consecutive game against their rival ( BOS 12, NYY 1 ), the first time they've done that in a single season since 2009. It is only Boston's third eight-game winning streak over the Yankees in its history.
The New York Yankees have no direction right now, and that starts with manager Aaron Boone, who's not helping himself at all.

The Red Sox did outhit the Yankees, 10-8, but they were brutal with runners in scoring position early in the game before scoring five of their six runs in the final five innings (including two in the ninth on a Roman Anthony home run).
