A fantastic road victory as Ottawa dominates Boston on Sunday night for their first four-game winning streak of the season.

BOSTON -- Fabian Zetterlund had two goals and an assist, and the Ottawa Senators won their fourth straight game with a 6-2 victory against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden on Sunday.

The Bruins lost three of four games last week, and now face an Ottawa team riding a three-game win streak into TD Garden.

The Ottawa Senators have shown signs of being a great team, but have been hindered by an inconsistent lineup. At times, they missed crucial players such as Brady Tkachuk, Shane Pinto and Thomas Chabot.

David Perron scored twice in the third period, Fabian Zetterlund had a goal and an assist, and Brady Tkachuk extended his goal streak to three games for the Senators (17-13-4), who are 4-1-0 in their past five. Leevi Merilainen made 20 saves to end a personal four-game losing streak.

The 73-year-old Martin is Ottawa's franchise leader in regular-season and playoff coaching wins as well as games coached.

Drake Batherson has been a model of consistency this season. He is averaging more than a point per game and has only gone two in a row without hitting the scoresheet once all year. After a pointless effort Saturday, Batherson is in a great spot to rebound.

Linus Ullmark made 24 saves for his first shutout of the season, Brady Tkachuk scored twice and the Ottawa Senators beat the Pittsburgh 4-0 on Thursday night to extend the Penguins’ losing streak to seven.

12. Through games on Dec. 20, the Senators have 38 points, which is exactly what they had on Dec. 20 last season. Of course, that was a season when they broke their seven-year playoff drought, so while they're still three points out right now, that bodes well for their postseason aspirations in the new year.
