President Biden will deliver remarks Tuesday at Angola's National Museum of Slavery in the nation's capital. Mr. Biden is the first sitting U.S. president to visit Angola and the first president to visit Sub-Saharan Africa since 2015.

President Joe Biden said "there's nothing beyond our capacity if we work together" while addressing a gathering outside the National Museum of Slavery in Luanda, Angola, on Tuesday.

In becoming the first American leader to visit Angola, President Biden said it was important not to forget the ugly legacy of the human trade that originally defined relations with Africa.
