In season 1, episode 10 of Landman, Andy Garcia's character finally appears, and somehow, Tommy still finds time to be annoyed that his daughter is dating.

A Season 2 of Landman has not been confirmed yet. Season 1 ended with a jaw-dropping finale on January 12, 2025, but, despite many questions being left unanswered, Paramount+ has yet to announce plans for a follow-up.

Tommy and Monty have been willing to play nice, but going into the season finale, local cartel boss Jimenez (Alex Meraz) had refused to let things run smoothly unless he was reimbursed for drugs that the cartel lost trafficking on land managed by M-Tex.
