Bill Self showered praise on KJ Adams on Tuesday night after the 6-foot-7 senior forward suffocated Duke standout Cooper Flagg on defense while chipping in eight points in the Jayhawks’ Vegas Showdown victory over the Blue Devils at T-Mobile Arena in Nevada.

Kansas Men’s Basketball routes Furman 86-51 to remain unbeaten on the season. The Jayhawks coming off a big-time win last week against Duke got off to a slow start against Furman. The Paladins hit 6 early threes to stay close with the Jayhawks but Kansas closed the first half on a 12-2 run to take a 39-28 lead into the break.

KU’s many offensive options — and stellar defense — were on full display against a previously unbeaten Furman (7-1) squad. The Jayhawks, who led by 11 after that first half, made it look easy in covering a massive spread (-20.5) against the Paladins.
