TORRES released a new album, What an enormous room, in January via Merge. In August she teamed up with Fruit Bats for the collaborative EP, A Decoration, also on Merge. Baker’s last solo album was 2021’s Little Oblivions, which was followed by the accompanying B-Sides EP, both released via Matador.

Julien Baker and Torres stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night to play a new song called “Sugar in the Tank.” Baker and Torres’ Mackenzie Scott wore embroidered Nudie Suits and performed with a full band. Scott handled electric guitar duties, while Baker played the banjo. Watch the performance below.

It’s sold out (a link to tickets was sent to subscribers to their email lists, and they sold out immediately), but they do have some festival dates coming up, and hopefully will announce a proper tour soon too.
