A Pakistani journalist investigating claims of casualties in a protest march demanding the release of jailed ex-prime minister Imran Khan was picked up off the street on Wednesday night and charged with terrorism,

Pakistani security forces pushed a protester off a 25-foot tall stack of shipping containers as they were accused of opening fire on supporters of Imran Khan at a huge demonstration in Islamabad.

Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, who was leading the protest, and other demonstrators fled in vehicles when police pushed back against the rallygoers following clashes in which at least seven people were killed.
