The Arizona Cardinals continue their preseason Saturday night against the Denver Broncos. They kick off at 9:30 p.m. ET (6:30 p.m. Arizona time) from Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. The game airs locally in Arizona on Arizona's Family CBS 5, and it will air live on NFL Network outside of the two teams' local viewing area.
Denver Broncos backup offensive lineman Nick Gargiulo suffered a season-ending ACL injury in a preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, coach Sean Payton confirmed after Tuesday's practice. "Nick, we put on reserve injured," Payton said. "That’s an ACL and a pretty significant injury and season-ending, so that’s a tough loss.”
On Wednesday, Broncos offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi echoed Payton, playing down Harvey's bouncing-it-outside tendency while acknowledging that not every run call is designed for it.
There’s that 10 percent [of trades] that are difficult,” Head Coach Sean Payton said. “This was one of those 10 percent.”
