A:
Yes, in our tour group (MagicTour) people were dropped at the entrance to the beach section of the national park on our way back to Santa Marta
Hi there, How difficult dangerous was the trek, I don't like to walk on small tracks with an abyss next to me, is this the case during the Ciudad Perdida trek? And is it very steep climbing? Tx!!! Guido

It is very steep going up hill and down hill each day. The track surface is also very uneven and goes through creeks and along steep mountainsides. You need very good /proper footwear, well-fitting and thick socks. It’s also tough on your knees. If you have knee issues you may need to tape them or utilise some type of extra support. You can also go the option of doing the trek over 5 days instead of 4 days, so you can take it even slower. Talk to your tour group about your options. Hope that’s helpful. Mish

Hi yes, you need backpacks as you have to carry everything you need for 4 days (but pack very light). Insect repellent a must & I rec long trousers (they saved me from get bitten). Temp depends when you go but generally quite hot & humid. I recommend walking boots over trainers too - helps the toes on the downhills.
